Venice, France — A group of tourists are taking a vacation on a vintage yacht that can cost up to $200,000.
The owner, a retired French engineer, says the trip is a “great way to discover what life is really like.”
The owner of the yacht, a former marine engineer, is on a trip to Venice with a group of other travelers.
He told The Associated Press that they are going on an epic yacht fishing trip to the southern part of the Venetian lagoon.
The cruise ship will travel through the bay in a luxury yacht called a Sirocca.
“The boat has all the bells and whistles,” he said.
“A few of the passengers can wear fancy clothes and go on fancy vacations.
The boat will have a restaurant and spa and a hotel room.”
The group is staying at a luxury hotel called the La Sirocci, with a view of the lagoon from a hotel.
The luxury hotel will have an open-air balcony, an indoor spa and an outdoor pool.
The group will be getting their own private jet to fly them around the world.
They are planning to stay for four months.
“It’s the best way to experience the world,” said one of the group.
They plan to visit other places, too, such as Dubai, and a cruise ship in Japan.
They also plan to fly to Japan for the winter and then return to the U.S. The trip was a chance to get a taste of the luxury lifestyle that has made Venice such a popular destination for wealthy people.
